As the conservation and efficient use of water resources became a global priority, the 2nd Water and Water Technologies Fair (SU-TEK 2018), bringing together all stakeholders of the sector, created a significant vision platform in Ankara. Held between September 06-09 at the Ankara Atatürk Cultural Center, the organization hosted the sector’s latest developments in critical topics such as sustainable use of water, saving strategies, wastewater treatment, and recycling technologies. Beyond being just an exhibition area, the fair served as a strategic meeting point where future technologies regarding water management were discussed.
Investment-Oriented Growth and Strategic Market
Identified by European Union reports as one of the world’s largest markets for water and wastewater solutions, Turkey once again proved this potential with SU-TEK 2018. During the organization period, the planned investment of 33.9 billion Euros for new and rehabilitation projects aimed for 2023 transformed the fair into an attraction center for both public and private sector professionals. Investors and technology providers came together on the fairgrounds to evaluate Turkey’s massive potential in this field and develop collaborations.
The Latest Point in Infrastructure and Treatment Technologies
SU-TEK 2018 presented all infrastructure and technology requirements in the processes of water reaching the end-user from the source and subsequently being reclaimed by nature to the attention of the participants. Products and services exhibited in a wide range, from wastewater treatment plants to smart water grids, revealed the technical capacity of the sector. The organization contributed to sectoral development by ensuring that innovative solutions developed for water reuse and the protection of ecological balance met with relevant institutions and professionals.
