Reflecting on the development of animal production technologies, milk, and feed industries in Turkey, the 2nd Livestock, Animal Production Technologies, Milk, and Feed Industry Fair gathered sector professionals in the capital city, Ankara. Held between September 20-23, 2018, at the Ankara Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM), the organization created a strategic meeting point for all stakeholders of the sector in Ankara, the center of agricultural and livestock policies. The fair hosted a wide profile of participants, ranging from producers to providers of the latest technologies.
Production Technologies and Industrial Development
Beyond merely showcasing livestock, the organization functioned as an innovation platform where technologies increasing the efficiency of animal production were introduced. Modernization of the dairy industry and the latest developments in the feed industry were among the focal points of the fair. Enriched by the participation of the sector’s leading organizations, innovative solutions regarding automation systems, milking technologies, and feeding rations were presented to the attention of visitors in the fair area. This interaction enabled local producers to meet with equipment and methods at global standards.
Sectoral Synergy and Commercial Networks
Hosted by the Ankara Atatürk Cultural Center, the event played a crucial role in establishing the supply and demand balance in the livestock sector. This platform, where feed industrialists and businesses engaged in animal production could establish direct contact, paved the way for laying the foundations of new commercial collaborations. While participating companies found the opportunity to deliver their developed products and services directly to their target audiences, visitors also had the chance to analyze the competitive conditions and future projections in the sector on-site.
