The concept of “security,” which is the most basic human need after food and shelter, gained a new dimension in Ankara with developing technologies. The 2nd Defense and Security Informatics Technologies Fair (SAFETECH 2016), held at Ankara Anfa Altınpark Expo Center between October 20 – 23, 2016, brought together the leading brands and professionals of the sector. The phenomenon of security, the importance of which is increasing in parallel with the increasing social challenges in the global world, was addressed with cutting-edge solutions in this organization.
New Generation Solutions in Informatics and Defense
The fair presented a comprehensive showcase where defense and security sectors as well as information technologies were integrated. Starting out with the goal of being the largest market in Anatolia, branded companies in the security sector had the opportunity to exhibit their newest products. New generation technologies were presented to the visitors at the fair, which included not only physical security but also sub-branches of cyber security and information technologies. Participants had the chance to closely examine smart systems minimizing security vulnerabilities and domestic and foreign innovations in the defense industry.
