Ankara brought together the most dynamic actors of the mother and child sector under the roof of the 3rd Mother and Child Needs Fair (KIDS 2017). The organization, held at Ankara Anfa Altınpark Expo Center between April 20 – 23, 2017, concluded as a life center offering holistic solutions to the needs of families and young people, beyond being just a shopping platform. With its wide range of products appealing to the 0-18 age group, the fair became the most important stop for the sector in the capital by bringing together service providers and parents in need of services on a common ground.
From the First Step to Motherhood to Happy Children
One of the sections attracting the most intense interest in the fair was the special stands prepared for expectant mothers and new mothers. Care products, baby equipment, and textile materials needed in this sensitive period extending from pregnancy to post-birth were presented to visitors. While parents had the opportunity to examine the equipment necessary for the healthy development of their babies on-site, developmental, educational, and entertaining activities exhibited for school-age children added color to the fair. The organization created an interactive atmosphere where children both learned and had fun.
Career and Education Vision for Youth
KIDS 2017 was not limited to baby and child products but also shed light on the future planning of high school students. Private teaching institutions, universities, and study abroad agencies participating in the fair offered professional consultancy services to young people preparing to climb the career ladder. Institutions providing services in a wide perspective from education to personal development played a guiding role in helping young people determine their academic goals. Thus, the fair succeeded in meeting the needs of a wide age range extending from the cradle to the university under a single roof.
