KVKK – CUSTOMER/INVITEE CLARIFICATION TEXT

Pursuant to the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 dated April 7, 2016 (“KVKK”) and the Procedures and Principles regarding the same; We hereby inform you that the personal data you have shared with “infofair.com.tr” may be processed within the scope of our commercial relations or our business relations with you; to the extent and for the duration required by the processing purpose, in a manner connected, limited, and proportionate to this purpose, by preserving the accuracy of the personal data you share and keeping it up-to-date as notified to us; that it can be stored, recorded, kept, re-organized, shared with institutions authorized to request such personal data under the law, and transferred, classified, and processed in other ways listed in the KVKK, under the conditions stipulated by the KVKK, to third parties domestically or abroad. The purpose of this Customer Clarification Text is to provide detailed information regarding the processing of personal data obtained from the members, users, and/or visitors (“Customer”, “Invitee”) of the website, which is publicly operated by infofair.com.tr and has a link address, during the operation of the said website.

PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data that may be processed as a Customer/Invitee to date and/or in future processes are as follows; processed via the “Fair Application Form” and “E-Invitation Form” tabs filled out within the scope of your www.infofair.com.tr website membership; evaluated in the Identity Data category; your name and surname, to enable your distinguishability, to create a fair e-invitation on your behalf, to receive your application for the relevant fair; evaluated in the Contact Data category; your e-mail address, phone information, and address, to prevent multiple registrations with the same e-mail address in our system, to be able to reach you when necessary to communicate with you regarding issues related to the fair you applied for/requested an invitation for, to communicate with you regarding your application, to ensure your fair invitation can be delivered to you, to enable informing you about the services and products offered, and to send advertising and promotional content via electronic mail and phone in case you give consent to send commercial electronic messages to you. The information of the company you work for/planned area provided in the fair application form via the www.ınfofair.com.tr website will be processed for the purpose of obtaining necessary preliminary information for the fair area to be rented to you.

PROCESSING PURPOSES

Your personal data may be processed by the Company for the following purposes and reasons. In particular, for the provision of the Company’s legitimate interests; Your personal data will be processed for the purposes listed below: For the delivery of products and services and establishing communication regarding the products and services you have received/will receive, To fulfill the performance of contracts, To issue invoices in accordance with current legislation and to ensure that you can fully and properly exercise your rights arising from current legislation, To evaluate customer complaints and suggestions regarding our services, To improve, develop, and diversify our services and to present or inform real/legal persons with whom we have commercial relations, To plan the scope of fairs in accordance with participant and visitor expectations, to monitor the activity, and ensure its continuity, To increase the awareness of fairs by participants, visitors, the press, relevant non-governmental organizations, and relevant public institutions and organizations, To create databases regarding customers, fair participants, and/or fair visitors, to sustain marketing activities, to know our customers, fair participants, and visitors, to increase mutual communication, to conduct data analysis and research, and to increase service quality, To improve and enhance customer data quality, to design and manage loyalty operations, cross-selling, and actions to regain lost customers regarding customer management, To determine and implement Info Fairs’ commercial and business strategies, To prepare all necessary records and documents for you to complete your transactions in written, verbal, or electronic environments, To convey important information we need to share with you through your contact information, To fulfill activities regarding the services offered to you through contracted institutions, To ensure the legal or technical security of persons within the business relationship and the continuity of business, To conduct our necessary quality and standard audits or to fulfill our reporting and other obligations determined by laws and regulations, To fulfill legal obligations specified in the KVKK and to exercise our rights arising from legislation, in the manner required or mandated by legal regulations, with regulatory and supervisory institutions. In addition to these, your personal data may also be processed for the purpose of informing you via SMS and/or e-mail regarding promotional and marketing activities of Info Fairs to your contact addresses that are being or will be processed by organizations we cooperate with for the promotion and marketing of the services we offer and the commercial electronic message intermediary service provider we have an agreement with. (If legally required, your consent regarding the subject will be obtained.) It will be processed for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes within the scope of personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law. Your personal data will be kept for the maximum period specified in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose for which they are processed and, in any case, for the legal statute of limitations periods.

SHARING OF CUSTOMER/INVITEE DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

Info Fairs transfers your personal data to third parties only in accordance with the purposes stated in this Clarification Text and Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. Your personal data may be shared within the framework of the conditions foreseen in the KVKK; to domestic and foreign partnerships or affiliates for the fulfillment and continuity of commercial activities, to domestic and foreign third parties to whom support services are provided or from whom support services are received, to service providers who support us in data processing activities, to audit firms within the scope of relevant contracts for the purpose of auditing commercial activities in accordance with the provisions of relevant legislation, to legally authorized public institutions and organizations to a limited extent within the scope of requests under the legal authority of relevant public institutions and organizations, to public institutions and organizations determined to ensure the fulfillment of legal obligations specified in the KVKK, and to commercial electronic message intermediary service providers for the purpose of making promotion and advertising.

SECURITY, PRESERVATION, AND DESTRUCTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Info Fairs has high sensitivity and awareness regarding personal data security and the protection of individual privacy. As Info Fairs, we take the necessary administrative and technical measures to ensure protection against unauthorized access to personal data or loss, incorrect use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of this information, and to ensure that personal data is kept confidential, confidentiality is ensured, and security is provided. In necessary cases, Info Fairs immediately informs you and the Personal Data Protection Board in accordance with the Law and personal data protection legislation. The personal data belonging to the Customers/Invitees specified in this Customer Clarification Text are processed by Info Fairs by ensuring their security in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Procedure and Personal Data Storage and Destruction Policy, primarily the Law and personal data protection legislation. Your personal data are kept for the period required for the processing purposes specified in this Customer Clarification Text and, in any case, during the legal statute of limitations periods specified in legal regulations. Upon the expiration of these periods or if your request in this direction is deemed appropriate, Info Fairs deletes, destroys, or anonymizes your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Storage and Destruction Policy.

YOUR RIGHTS PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 11 OF THE KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, provided you prove your identity, you have the right to learn whether the Company processes personal data about you and, if so, to request information about this, to learn the purpose of processing of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with this purpose, to learn whether your personal data are transferred domestically or abroad and to whom they are transferred. Additionally, you have the right to request the correction of your incorrect and incomplete personal data by Info Fairs and the notification of recipients to whom your data has been or may be transferred. You can request the deletion and destruction of your data from Info Fairs within the framework of the conditions foreseen in Article 7 of the KVKK. At the same time, you can request that third parties to whom the data is transferred or can be transferred be informed regarding such deletion and destruction. You can object to the results of your personal data analysis created exclusively by using an automated system if these results are contrary to your interests. If you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data, you can request the remedy of the damage. Your requests in your application will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires an additional cost for the Company, a fee may be charged in the manner determined in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller by the Personal Data Protection Board. You must submit your application regarding matters related to the processing of your personal data by filling out the application form found on the Company’s internet address and delivering it to our company as stated in the form.

Exceptions to the Right of Application
Pursuant to Article 28 of the Personal Data Protection Law, personal data owners will not be able to assert their rights on the following matters:
Processing of personal data for purposes such as research, planning, and statistics by anonymizing them with official statistics
Processing of personal data for artistic, historical, literary, or scientific purposes or within the scope of freedom of expression, provided that it does not violate national defense, national security, public security, public order, economic security, the privacy of private life, or personality rights or constitute a crime
Processing of personal data within the scope of preventive, protective, and intelligence activities carried out by public institutions and organizations authorized by law to determine and perform tasks for national defense, national security, public security, public order, and economic security
Processing of personal data by judicial authorities or execution offices regarding investigation, prosecution, trial, or execution proceedings

Pursuant to the second paragraph of Article 28 of the KVK Law; personal data owners will not be able to assert their rights in the following cases, except for requesting the remedy of damage:
Necessity of personal data processing for the prevention of crime or criminal investigation
Processing of personal data made public by the personal data owner himself/herself
Necessity of personal data processing for the execution of audit or regulation duties and disciplinary investigation and prosecution by authorized and liable public institutions and organizations and professional organizations of public institution nature given authority by law
Necessity of personal data processing for the protection of the state’s economic and financial interests regarding budget, tax, and financial matters.
