Livestock and Dairy Industry Met in Ankara with a Technological Vision

Livestock and animal production technologies, one of the most strategic branches of the agricultural sector, were scrutinized in a comprehensive organization held in the capital Ankara. Held at Ankara Ankapark Wonderland Eurasia, the Livestock and Dairy’2019 – 3rd Livestock, Animal Production Technologies, Milk and Feed Industry Fair brought together livestock activities, which are considered the insurance of rural development, with modern technology. This event, where all processes from breeding to marketing of animals with high economic value were discussed, created a giant synergy in the agricultural sector along with the simultaneously held AGROTEC and SEED fairs.

Technological Transformation and Economic Contribution in Animal Production

The organization gathered a wide range of fields from livestock equipment to the feed industry, from the pharmaceutical industry to milk processing technologies under a single roof. The livestock sector, which is the most important supporter of agriculture in rural areas, gained access to high value-added production models through this platform. While participating companies found the opportunity to introduce their products developed with the latest systems and technology directly to the producers; this commercial mobility, which opened the doors to new employment areas, gave a significant momentum to the national economy. The fact that livestock is not just animal husbandry but also an industrial branch integrated with technology was once again registered with this fair.

Global Integration and Sectoral Synergy in the Agricultural Sector

The fact that the fair was held simultaneously with the 23rd AGROTEC International Agriculture and Agricultural Technologies Fair and the 3rd Seed and Sapling Fair offered visitors a full-scale sectoral experience from seed to animal production. This meeting, which prepared the ground for domestic producers to open up to world markets, served as a strategic bridge to develop import and export opportunities. The organization, where advanced technology applications and new generation sapling methods were exhibited, was recorded as a critical step towards the integration of Turkish agriculture into world standards. This platform, which removed the distance between producers and consumers, became an important meeting point shedding light on the future of the sector.
